This year's HarvestFest/TrailBlazer youth outdoor event saw cool, sunny weather, with winds blowing toward the shoreline.  That, combined with heavy vegetation in the pond, made casting & fishing a bit difficult.  The event was attended by a large number of kids and the vast majority of them participated in the fishing during the day.  Two largemouth bass, one chain pickerel and about a half dozen bluegill sun fish were brought all the way to the shoreline.  The kids seemed to have a great time.  We thank dedicated volunteers Fred, Gary, Charlie, Bob, Ray, Rashawn, Joe R, Joe N, Jake and Alander.
